Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Nearly all my students come from low income, bilingual households. My students are vibrant and passionate about school and see the unlimited opportunities that are open to them! They are full of curiosity and a love of learning, constantly wanting to know why, and applying their eager minds to discover something new!
My Project
With these materials, I hope to encourage their curiosity and excitement in the world of math and science! There is so much to discover and be amazed at in the DK books! With the information that can be used when doing research in individual work or group experiments.
Scientific materials are the tools that the students need to see the magic and opportunities that are available to them through discovery!
With these scientific and mathematical books as their guides and curiosity and engagement as their inspiration, the vast world of STEM will be open to them!
