My students need plastic containers to keep the individual STEM materials organized so learning can be maximized.
My second-grade students are lovable, energetic children, who are always eager to learn new things. They look forward to school each day because they are provided with inquiry-based learning. Creating projects and learning new things are a part of our everyday learning experience.
Our school has a K through eighth-grade student body.
Our goal is to provide the most enriching, challenging education possible for all of our students. Our beautiful classroom is a warm, caring environment, conducive to all types of wonderful learning experiences.
With the new science standards come the concept of STEM, which is very challenging and rigorous to students. My plan for utilizing the STEM Bins for this upcoming school year is to have a STEM bin section in my classroom. I am requesting a variety of containers and bins.
Each plastic container (bin) will contain a task card along with supplies to complete the STEM activity.
These will be utilized throughout the year to as early finisher tasks. This will increase the students thinking and engineering skills. These STEM bins will also be connected to our formal science lessons on a weekly basis. Thank you so much for your support.
