My first grade classroom is one full of learning and discovering. We see each day as a new opportunity to learn and grow together!
Each child has a dream in their hearts and it is my job to foster that dream!
My students come from diverse backgrounds and family dynamics. We are a Title I school located in South Florida. I strive each day to provide a loving and nurturing environment for all of my students. They come to school with many challenges, yet we persevere! I want them to know that they can go to space, be the next great inventor, or be President one day! We were all dreamers once and some of us just needed that extra cheerleader to encourage us to chase our dreams - that is where I come in!
My Project
These STEM Bins will give students the resources needed to let their minds explore while they create all different kinds of things! STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Students will be able to incorporate all for of those components during their STEM center, which I call creation station.
During their creation station time, students get to build and create however they see fit, there is no wrong way to create something!
This center is currently the most popular center and I want to give students more materials to work with. These STEM bins will give my students everything they need to be STEM-azing!
