My students are always eager to learn every day. They love to learn through experience and getting to try to solve problems themselves. I want my students to keep their thirst for knowledge as we grow and learn together.
My students want to be at school because they want to learn what they can so they can achieve their goals one day.
Most students are from a low income household and they still come in every day ready to learn something new.
My Project
STEM Bins are making science and math more fun for students. They are allowing the students to experiment and try different ideas on their own. Students will get to pick a bin and then try to build or create their own creation.
These different materials will challenge the students to find the right pieces to make their idea come to life.
The main idea behind STEM Bins is the bring out the engineering DNA that the students are born with and challenging them to use it while communicating with other students what their thinking is. The students will be using these stem bins during morning work time along with if they finish a task early.
