Our STEM-focused school has many incredible children. These kids come from many different cultures and backgrounds, a truly diverse group of students in each class. There’s one thing our STEM classroom is really missing and that is some hands-on STEM Bin Activities.
We will integrate these STEM Bins and materials into all aspects of our learning.
These students are very interactive and lively bunch. They love to be active and move about the classroom. Recess is one of their favorite times of the day when they can run around and enjoy each others company. I hope to bring some more of that enjoyment indoors with these items.
My Project
The use of interactive items such as STEM Bins and white boards have become an essential use in classrooms. We have started to use white boards almost daily and has helped my students benefit in all subjects.
The white boards and STEM Bin items help students build their creativity, planning and teamwork, as well as help with their daily learning, while having the florescent light covers to help them stay focused and safe.
The white boards are an interactive way for students to answer questions and show their work. Providing insight on how well they are understanding the lesson.
The STEM Bins are what all of the building and linking items on this list are for. They will give the students the ability to use creativity, planning and teamwork to show what they can do. They can create a dinosaur with the linking flakes or build a fort with the blocks.
The florescent lights can sometimes cause the kids headaches, these covers will help the students focus and help with headaches.
The bins are to help us store each thing inside the classroom.
These items will really help learning in this classroom!
