My Students

I have 17 first grade students who come to school with a passion for learning and growing. My students deserve to have as many hands-on lessons and experiences as possible this upcoming school year. My students are hard-working, active, and eager learners who love to use their creativity to think outside of the box.

Students will be required to socially distance this school year, which means they will not have the opportunity to share supplies. The supplies and materials I am requesting will allow for each and every student in my classroom to have their own individualized STEAM bags.

My students will not be able to share materials with each other like they normally do so this is vital to our socially distanced classroom in order to keep everyone safe.

A lot of activities and projects that we do at our school are hands on; therefore, each student will need to have their own individualized supplies to keep students safe. The bags that I will create will allow students to be creative by exploring and making models that go along with what we are learning.

My Project

These materials will allow students to be creative and explore different STEM materials while staying safe. Students can use the Lincoln Logs to build houses, places around the community, schools and so much more. The Tinker toys can be used to make models of different places and allows students to use their imagination to build what they want. The possibilities are endless with these STEM toys and will spark children's imagination.

We cannot have community materials this year so instead of taking them away completely, each child will have their own bag of STEM materials to explore and create with.
