Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come to school ready to learn! They are very excited about everything that we do. Every day is a happy day in the classroom, and they are glad to be there. They are special kids because they are working on STEAM curriculum on top of their regular district curriculum.

All of my students come from hardworking families, and they understand the importance of a good education.

They strive each and every day to learn as much as they can. They always want to please and better themselves.

My Project

These materials will make a difference my students' learning by encouraging the creative thought process through STEM based learning. All materials in this project allow for differentiation, imagination, construction, and manipulation to create unique works.

Students will use coloring supplies and construction paper to make 3-D models of buildings they wish to construct to solve a problem.

They will then be able to ensure their models can be built by constructing the same model with the Magna-Tiles.

The children's books in this project encourage student engagement and spark excitement and eagerness to create, collaborate, and imagine individual works of art.
