I work with students with various special needs in the Bronx (with diagnoses including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Batten's Disease, and Angelman's Syndrome). The students are learning how to write and to use their hands to create various designs and forms. The students would benefit from these handwriting building toys (such as the LeapFrog Writing Tablet) and STEM educational toys to develop their visual perceptual and visual motor skills.
