Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is an inner city school in a major urban area.
My students are in a high risk area, however, in the classroom is where the playing field can be leveled.
Students, with donations given, can be given a chance to afford the same opportunities as other students in more affluent neighborhoods and homes.
My students need an iPad Pro to integrate technology into the classroom.
Technology can play an integral part in educating students. There are amazing educational programs available to students. This iPad Pro will allow my students access to those programs, making their learning motivational and fun.
My Project
The iPad Pro, keyboard, and Apple Pencil will allow my students to gain confidence and advance to different levels of educational programs and applications in science, technology, arts and math.
Apple iPad Pro is great for students to use in visual arts.
Students can learn to use this technology to access various applications that will help them extend and expand their knowledge they learn in the class. Currently, we are learning about robotics. We have made robot hands out of paper and string but the iPad Pro could help them design robots. This is the motivation they need to keep them excited and motivated about their schooling and education.
