My students need STEM-related activities that help engage interest and motivation. A Mobile STEM station and Building Brick STEM Challenge Kit would be ideal in the classroom.
My students crave knowledge. They are curious thinkers who love challenges. My students have given me a profound sense of purpose. As their teacher, I am always trying to find new strategies to implement into the classroom. My goal is to provide them with a classroom that enhances their learning. My students are capable of success. Although many do have struggles, they are capable of anything as long as they put their minds to it.
All students are capable of higher learning.
As an educator, it is my duty to promote higher learning in the classroom. No child should be denied this.
My Project
With today's society, technology is becoming a dominant intelligence that needs to be fostered with our young students. It is crucial to encourage STEM learning early in elementary school so that the process of inquiry is integral to STEM that is the way young children naturally learn. Young children explore, ask questions, and discuss their observations. Naturally, young children are curious about exploration and experimentation. Ideally, I would like to build proficiency in the classroom by having activities such as a Mobile STEM Station and Building Brick STEM Challenge Kit that are hands-on and having an area designated to STEM-based learning.
Studies show that when children enter middle school, many lose their confidence in their ability to study math, science, technology, and engineering.
Let's start STEM in kindergarten and encourage our children to take an initiative with their learning in these areas.
