STEM Academy Lab Coats

My students need 30 science lab coats for the awesome, hands on experiments, we will be doing in class.

My Students

Calling all science buffs, mathematicians, computer programmers, and engineers! Do you want to help us be STEMtastic? We need lab coats for our students for all the awesome, hands on experiments, they will be doing!

My Title I school has decided to become a STEM Academy (science, technology, engineering, math).

We are so excited to introduce and expose our first grade students in California to these four curricular areas in hopes we will help produce future college and career ready members of our global society. I want to get my students excited and raring to go to learn about the wonderful world of STEM. We have created an amazing curriculum aligned with the new common core state standards, which will open student's eyes to a whole new world of learning, experimenting, creating, building, and problem solving. Let the experiments begin!

My Project

The lab coats I am requesting will help bring the curriculum to life and will motivate them to fully embrace the experiences coming their way. During each experiment the students will engage in they will wear the coats as they create and engineer oobleck, develop bubble solutions and wands, make fog catchers and track the moisture drops collected. These are only a few of the experiments they will participate in as part of our units on solids, liquids, and gases.

As you can see, these lab coats will enhance the curriculum for these students and truly make them feel like scientists.

I set high expectations for my students academic achievement and these coats will add so much to my students experiments to help them fulfill their potential.
