My students need STEM resources including Oan Evo App-Connected robot, Ozobot codes and Snap Circuits to engage in critical thinking and problem solving in our school maker space.
The students who will benefit from this project are high achieving and academically gifted students, in a Title I school.
My third, fourth, and fifth graders want to be challenged by rigorous learning experiences.
They are highly motivated to engage in critical thinking and problem solving activities. These students desire opportunities for real world experiences that require collaboration, communication, and creativity. My goal is to provide them with an academically rich environment that continuously challenges them to strive to think outside the box.
My Project
I serve a diverse population of students and want them to have the necessary resources to be successful in the 21st century. My goal is to prepare my 21st century learners for the opportunities of engineering, collaboration, and creativity that the future will require of them to be successful productive citizens. We need an Evo App-Connected robot and Ozobots codes to take learning to the next level. This robot will allow students to learn to program, code, and share their creations with the world. We also need Snap Circuit Lights to increase critical thinking skills, problem solving strategies and have exposure to engineering through S.T.E.M activities.
These materials are highly motivating and engaging and will open students to new subjects and enhance learning challenges.
It will also provide for integration of all content areas. This will promote innovative thinking and creativity in students.
