This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Enthusiastic, creative, and curious are the words that come to mind when I think of my students. Many of them come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, yet they still manage to persevere. Despite the struggles they may encounter outside of school, they come to school each and every day full of joy and ready to learn and grow their brains. This something that I truly admire about them.
What I love most about my learners is that they don’t give up.
My learners especially enjoy hands-on learning opportunities that keep them engaged and challenge them to be the best they can be. They are truly an inspiration to me, and I am proud to say I’m their teacher!
My Project
Join me to help STEMulate young minds! The STEM Bins I have asked for will be used to support my students learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. These bins will be used in the morning to warm-up their learning as well as during the school day for our STEAM block and as early finishers.
The materials in these bins will help to increase my students' creativity and curiosity while encouraging them to apply higher order thinking skills.
My students especially love hands-on learning, and these bins will provide them with a great opportunity for more of just that!
