This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Elementary school is lucky to have Mrs. W as our amazing makers lab teacher. The kids enjoy their visits to makers lab to create amazing and exciting steam/stem projects with her!

The library's goal is to support students interest in maker's lab activities, by providing a variety of steam/stem and project idea books for library check-out.

The students helped me choose their favorite topics of activities that they are interested in creating in their free time. By having the opportunity to take "maker" books like..... home allows students to create large and more time consuming projects after school and on weekends with their families and friends.
