My Students
My school sits in the middle of a low-income neighborhood in Florida. Close to 100% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch and about twenty percent of students live in one of the four shelters around our school. Our school does an excellent job of helping those students fit in even though the mobility rate is very high.
I believe every child can achieve the impossible.
My students have big dreams and I try every day to help them get closer to achieving them.
My Project
STEAM has become an integral part of everyday life. I want my students to get a head start on this process and these materials can help with that. The Science Exploration Book set will be informative, as well as, help them with their literacy skills.
I want my students to be all-around learners.
The Butterfly Garden, Insect Life Cycle games and the Sprout and Grow Window will teach them learn about living things and how they evolve. The Skate Park Engineering and Design set will be used to enhance their thinking and problem solving skills as they build. The Brain Builder will be used to increase their knowledge in science.
