My Students

I teach at a title one school where more than 80% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. My class is made up of a diverse group of students. My third grade class is made up of cultural and educational skilled students who love reading and science.

Each of my student is unique and therefore require unique ways of presenting their work.

My students face more than academic challenges on a daily bases and it is my job to create a fun and loving school environment. I have students who enjoy school because of science.

My Project

Science is a vital part of our students learning. These items will help my students be able to work as a team to understand the world around them. They will learn to understand that everything has a purpose and what that purpose is.

This exposure to the world of science could be the opening of career paths for many of my students and I want them to all to see this as a choice they can make for themselves.

Each of the STEM kits will be used in small and while groups. This will teach students to work together and rely on each other. Students will be able to use the hands on kits and journals as part of their daily science block. By having the STEM kits every thing needed to complete and record as the observe.
