Our students have a lot of potential and energy. They learn by doing, manipulating their environments, and leading through doing. We are a project heavy group that has a variety of learning styles and abilities.
Our students are excited to be present and learning.
They practice leadership skills and small group delegation in every class and in many ways. They are all highly intelligent and are finding ways to shine. There are many students we work with that do not have the supplies and resources to prepare themselves for not just middle school but life after.
The adults supporting our wonderful students are coming from all walks of life and different grades taught. We have a lot of ideas and ways to engage but many supplies are lacking in our rooms and teaching spaces.
My Project
We want to engage our students in learning hands-on this year through interactive reading and projects that use all the senses.
We wish to start the year strong with a basis in loving to read, write, and do amazing science and engineering projects.
As a team of teachers, staff, and community members we want the year to begin with fun, learning, and interacting with others.
With the supplies we will be able to craft science and history models, make draft ideas of our own STEAM creations, and build a community of learners. Our school is a brand new school with teambuilding one of our big priorities the first month we are session.
