My Students

My students are in the First grade. Our school is a high needs Title I with about 87% qualifying for free or reduced price lunch. We have four students who receive English Language Development services. We have four students who receive speech and language services. One student is receiving one on one support for social and academic skills.

We are an energetic, diverse class of 24 first graders who have a great love of 21st century learning.

Our class is hard working and loving all subjects but especially STEAM. Any chance we get to differentiate our learning to specific individual needs is what we love. From growth in reading and math, to 21st century skills and social learning we stay as busy as we can!

My Project

Our class loves anything STEM related and even better HANDS ON STEM related. We are budding engineers and researchers who crave problem solving and building things. We started learning how to code our first week of school and have excelled above and beyond expectations.

By donating to our project, you will help us explore coding in buzzing action with Bee Bots, problem solve, and explore various engineering and science concepts through hands on experiences while also teaching us how to work together in groups to achieve a common goal.
