We are a small Title I school with low-income families. This means I need extra support in getting items needed for my classroom. Please help me keep my students learn more about STEAM during this school year. I teach a special group of kids who are full of curiosity and have an excitement for new subjects.
My students love art, math, science, technology and engineering!
I want to get them some art and craft supplies and science items . Please help me keep my students learn more.
My goal in the classroom, is to teach my students safe and with out sharing the supplies this year. unfortunately it is difficult to buy all the supplies needed for each student.
I am asking for support in getting items to provide a safe way to give them art and science education.
My Project
When students engage in activities that combine different elements of STEAM, they experience guided inquiry.
Through learning STEAM students will have thoughtful questions, discover answers, apply what they learn, and problem-solve creatively.
Students learning how to make a wire sculpture that lights up must ask questions about how it works, try out different wiring techniques to get the sculpture to light up, think about the meaning behind their artistic creation, and experience the creative process, going from a design on paper to a tangible, functional object.
My students love to learn new skills and enjoy may different curriculum, since it is their first year in school I want to give them the opportunity to try all STEAM related projects.
