My Students

My class is full of bright, energetic, hard-working students. They would greatly and gratefully benefit from your generosity! Our Title I school has more than 80% of our population receiving free or reduced-price lunches. Forty-six percent of our school's students are English language learners.

My Project

Note to donors: These supplies will help students combat the impacts of interrupted learning associated with COVID-19. By donating these supplies, you support our students in participating in high-interest tasks, access technologies they can use in the classroom or at home, and keep our classroom safe and clean. Easy access to high-quality learning supports students' social, emotional, and mental well-being.

Not only will these donations support everyday learning, but donating art and technology supplies to my class will also enable students to creatively demonstrate their understanding of art and science standards.

Our students are excited to participate in STEAM lessons--Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. We love to be able to conduct experiments and create projects, but unfortunately, our art and technology resources are limited.

Our science curriculum includes force and motion, non-living and living things, and the relationship of the sun, moon, and earth. We will use our new art supplies for the following activities:

• create dioramas to show interactions between non-living and living things in various habitats

• create simple rockets to demonstrate force and motion

• construct posters, pamphlets, and projects showing experiments on how heat is created (to enter in our school's STEM fair)

We are excited to integrate art with our science standards with your generous donations! We also appreciate supplies that will help keep our classroom safe and clean.
