This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am working with 30 fourth grade students who have a very strong desire to learn. Some of them come from economically disadvantaged home and need extra help to reach their educational goals.

By providing students with materials and experiences that motivate them to learn they can achieve their goals.

It is great to see my students engaged in activities that challenge them, but it's better when you see them try again when things didn't work out the first time. It shows me they are learning to learn.

My Project

The Tuff Totes will make it possible to keep our work space clean and organized. It’s fun to create when you can find the things you need. The Tuff Totes will help us keep our art supplies where they belong.

A well organized class is a is a safe place for students to learn.

When our supplies are easily located students are able to get to work quickly and they will have more time to spend on their project.

One of our projects will be to design a system to organize our materials. The students responsibility will be to create and maintain a functional storage wall.
