My students come from very diverse backgrounds and life experiences. The four year old campus I serve is an amazing learning lab site that partners with local universities to provide ongoing training for future teachers and others seeking a career in early childhood while keeping the focus on our four year olds.
My fours are inquisitive, loving, joyous, exuberant, energetic, and are always ready for anything.
They are silly and bring laughter to our learning environment daily. Busy is another word to describe the day in the life of my kiddos. They keep me young and eager to try new things. They are fearless and always up for an adventure. This excitement is contagious and I love spending my day with them.
My Project
Our STEAM Landing Pad will help us have a safe launching and landing area for daily adventures to begin and end from in our classroom. The vibrant colors and gears with inquiry prompts are bound to engage our scientific minds and encourage lively discussions.
The unique STEAM symbols will keep students active and interested in the scientific method at a developmentally appropriate level.
I can't wait to see the learning take off as students explore, play and try new things from an exciting location in our classroom. I will anxiously await the students' eagerness to travel through all things STEAM has to offer from this bright and cheery addition.
