My students are extremely artistic. They love to dance, create various visual arts projects, sing, act, and play instruments. They are artsy individuals who continually make me proud to teach them. Every day, they love to learn and enjoy a challenge in the classroom. They work very hard, and that will help them excel not in only their art areas but also in their academics.
Our school is moving toward STEAM certification so having STEM activities infused with the arts are important.
Each day becomes a challenge as a teacher as I seek new ways to keep them engaged in our lessons because I want them to be lifelong learners. They make teaching enjoyable because they are continually engaged in our lessons, no matter the topic.
My Project
Our school is moving toward STEAM, and my students need Chromebooks. Technology is such a vital component of STEAM.
The Chromebooks would be used to do research about the world in which we live as well as to create various types of digital tasks.
Having the Chromebooks would put the "world at the fingertips" of these precious children. The Chromebooks would also be used to access Google Classroom, where many of their assignments, videos, notes, and other important information in Social Studies and other classes would be able to be easily accessed in my classroom.
