My Students
The students in my classroom are excited to learn new things. They enjoy hands-on activities and learning new materials. Bringing hands-on activities into my class to enhance our reading, science and technology experience has helped to increase my students' love of learning. Many parents have shared with me their child's love of being in our class and the activities that are provided. Being able to provide them with fun learning activities is my goal. Meeting their needs to create and explore is what teaching and learning is all about.
My Project
Students in my class use technology to enrich their everyday learning. We are a STEAM focused school and use technology to enhance our learning however, we have limited computers for students to use daily. By having our own Chromebooks within our class, we will be able to increase our use of technology across the curriculum. Our district has provided us with wonderful online resources, but we are not able assess them in a practical fashion. My students need to use technology daily to keep up with what is expected for 21st Century Learners. Having Chromebooks 1:1 at our finger tips will provide this needed element.
