Our third-grade students love to explore the world around them, they love to solve real world problems, and they love to learn.
Our students focus on creating classroom communities and fostering an atmosphere of acceptance. They love to work cooperatively with partners, in small groups, and as a whole group to explore real world problems and use engineering concepts to solve them. Our students love to practice coding using robotics, and create movies to teach others about their research and ideas.
My Project
My students love to design and create. They solve real world problems through STEAM exploration and the inquiry process. They will be able to design and create t-shirts and acrylic art using the Cricut and laser engraver they have access to in our school Innovation Lab. They will also be able to complete building and engineering projects using Keva Planks. They can practice and learn aspects of design and stability as well as problem solve using the planks. These materials will make a world of difference in our STEAM projects.
