My students need the lithium coin cells, LED stickers, and copper foil for a STEM circuit project. The cards and printer will be used with the circuits to make light up cards.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students I work with are amazing. They strive to do their best and always are looking forward to learning. These students reach for the stars and have big dreams! Our school is located in a low-income area where all the students receive free lunch.
As an educator I want to provide enriching opportunities for students to discover and challenge themselves.
I want to provide them with the necessary materials to design engaging lessons to help ALL my students be successful.
My Project
This STEM circuit card making project is something that I would like to try with my students. My students will have the ability to learn about circuits in a meaningful way that is fun and engaging. Students will be making a light up card by using the materials to make a circuit with the copper and battery connected to the sticker.
STEM activities brings many benefits to all students and gives them the opportunity for truly engaged learning.
My students will be able to apply their knowledge in real situations through these types of projects. Allowing my students to have these opportunities can help foster a love of learning.
