Help me give my students building materials such as LEGO bricks, Picasso Tiles, Play Doh, and other tools so that they can have their own set of hands-on materials for STEAM projects.
My class is made up of 15 enthusiastic first graders that range in developmental and academic abilities. I love their sense of curiosity and and learning how things work. These first graders are spending a good bit of time on a Chromebook and need more opportunities for hands-on learning. First grade is such an important year where new skills are learned
My Project
The supplies that I am requesting will allow me to create individual bags of STEM items that are so important for their educational development. The individual bags are vitally important at this time because of no shared supplies. This will keep each student safe and learning.
Our school is a STEAM school and being able to develop these skills from the beginning with our youngest students will help to create a love for discovery through hands-on learning.
These items will allow for individual models of larger projects that we complete in class.
