My students will begin school next week. I have talked with parents by phone but have not had the pleasure of meeting my students. I will have face-to-face learners and at-home/online learners. I love first graders. They are full of excitement and energy. This is a very fun age to teach.
We are starting school with the majority of our students learning online.
I am hoping that by the second nine weeks, I will have more students coming to school.
I teach at a school that is PK-4th grade. Our school is culturally diverse which is a great learning experience for students.
I am so excited to meet my new students whether it be in person or online. We are going to have a great year!
My Project
This year with Covid 19, my students will not be sharing materials. Each student will have their own wipe off board, marker, and plastic pouch with plastic manipulatives for math stations. Students will also have laminated papers that they will use with the expo markers.
We will also use the cleaning products to help slow the spread of germs in our classroom.
The pattern block work mats will be laminated and used as a math station. My students will enjoy the book about Social Distancing. This book will explain the importance of staying 6 feet away from friends.
