Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach first grade in a small PreK-12 unit school. Our school is low income, but my determined group of students won't let that stop them! We are lucky to be in person learning together this year and I am trying to find new ways to stay safe and still have fun.
My diverse classroom is full of eager to learn students.
They are ready to learn every morning and always brighten my day. I love to see the amazement on their faces when they read something new. Help us to have the resources and books we need to do so!

I'm looking for a fun way to keep my students socially distanced and still enjoy our indoor recesses this winter.
We have been blessed to be learning in person this year, and let's keep it that way!
As we get to another cold winter, teachers all around are trying to figure out safe ways to help kids enjoy indoor recess. We are doing our best to keep our students socially distanced in the classroom. I think these games will be a great way for kids to have fun and still be safe during indoor recess. With different options like Connect Four, giant rug Checkers and Hopscotch, Legos, and exciting books like I SPY and Where's Waldo (from our local bookstore) my students will be able to spread out from others and still play!
