Help me give my students the three ring binders and dividers they need to stay organized in the classroom. This project will also help fund take home folders to help increase communication between parents and teachers.
The students in my school attend a neighborhood school, in a high poverty area, of hardworking families that want the best for their children. Students and teachers work together to not only meet but exceed our students' needs and educational goals.
The students are energetic, eager, and excited about learning.
They love school and come excited and ready to learn.
The parents are supportive and want the best for their students. I love how our community works together to achieve the best for our kids.
The materials I am requesting will allow all of my students to have the classroom materials they need to be organized in 3rd grade both at school and from home to school. Students will receive a durable take home folder that will be brought back and forth from home to school to help with organizing communication between parents and teachers. Kids will also have two binders with dividers to help organize their ELA and Math/Science materials.
Staying organized is one of the hardest skills for 3rd graders to learn.
They are becoming more independent and are learning to take care of their own materials. If students have the correct, durable materials to help organize themselves, they will be more successful with this goal.
Organization is the first step to success in the classroom!
