This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My class is full of students who love to come to school each day. They work hard in class and enjoy recess and gym time, too! Often times, when we come back from the gym or the recess yard, water bottles need to be refilled. The water fountain in the hall is difficult to fill water bottles with.

This water filter (and the mop pads in case of spills) will allow the class to get clean drinking water from the classroom sink to fill up with after gym and recess.

Staying hydrated is an important part of being healthy and this will certainly help us to do just that!
