Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students come to school with empty bellies and hungry minds. With students coming in late to class, breakfast is no longer served. With these snacks, students will be ready to learn with a full belly and working mind! Jolly ranchers have been used in the past as in incentive when working on state test prep, and students absolutely love being rewarded with a treat for their handwork and determination!

By donating to our project, you will not only help students maintain a full belly, but you will also provide us with the opportunity to design our very own class "Keeping Quilt"!

Students will be able to remain focused with their full bellies daily. These snacks are of our students' interests and they would be thrilled to be able to enjoy what they love while always growing their love for learning. With the material requested, students will be able to create their own class quilt to build class community and connect what we are learning about the story of "The Keeping Quilt".
