Help me give my students Time for Kids Magazines to help them better understand the world around them.

My students are a diverse group of first graders in a Title I school. They are each unique with different learning styles and interests. Despite their differences, they come to school each day with open minds and open hearts and are ready to tackle the day.
Their passion for learning and the desire to do well is what makes them so phenomenal.
My students are thinkers. They persevere and support each other when learning new concepts. They build each other up. They feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes. These students have built relationships with not only me, but with each other. In our classroom, we are like a family. We laugh together, grow together, and they encourage each other to be the best version of themselves that they can be.
My students have very little experiences outside of their hometown boundaries. Therefore, it is important that educational experiences are brought to them inside the classroom so that they may broaden their understanding of the outside world. By incorporating Time for Kids magazines in my classroom, my students will have access to high quality materials that are needed in order to make those real-world connections as they are learning about the current events that are shaping our world.
Help my students stay up to date with current events in a way that will keep them engaged, informed and excited to read.
By putting a Time for Kids magazine into the hands of each child, they will learn to read and understand nonfiction text, as well as staying up to date on what is happening in the world around them. Your generous donation will help bring this to life inside the four walls of our classroom. Thank you!
