I have such an amazing class this year. Due to recent events with the COVID 19 virus, my class and I have had to learn to become virtual learners. I would like to continue the hard work my students have performed this year by providing them with enrichment activities that will keep them engaged and still continuing to flourish like they were prior to the school closure.
To keep in touch with my students on a consistent basis, and meet their needs I am requesting an iPad, so I can be available for my students while virtually teaching.
My students have shown me their unwavering efforts to continue to want to learn by venturing out and trying things we had never practiced previously in the classroom. We are using google meetings and flipgrids to communicate with each other. My students are using google classroom to complete assignments and this was something we never had used before in classroom prior to this pandemic. For all the effort my students are putting in, I want to ensure I am available to them to assist and answer questions.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this donation.
By fulfilling this donation you will enable me as a teacher to have ready access at all times the ability to stay connected with my students. We are also in dire need of Chromebooks. We currently are at a 2:1 ratio and I would like the ability to give students the same equity to continue to learn with their peers. I realize two Chromebooks will not make the difference up, but it will at least help, so students are receiving old Chromebooks that are missing keys and barely function. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
