Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students range in ages from 9 to 13. Many are not fortunate enough to have technology in their homes. They come from hard-working families and from countries around the world such as Yemen, Spain, Africa, Honduras, China, and France, just to name a few. Their families live paycheck to paycheck.
My students enjoy reading and I teach two classes, and one of them is an ESL class, the majority of the class is learning to read and write in English.
My Project
I believe that fostering and keeping a clean classroom for my students is essential. There are many resources needed to do this. My goal is to minimize the spread of germs. It is for me to keep a safe and clean classroom. Simple things like having hand sanitizer readily available are now more valuable than ever. Health and wellness is now the focus of every teacher. Our main goal is to keep our classrooms clean and safe for our students as well as ourselves. I am certain that these supplies will foster an environment of safety for our students. They will feel more at ease if we have these handy. All of these supplies are basic.
These items are basic necessities that students need to take care of their personal hygiene.
Hand sanitizers, paper towels, and wipes will be used daily to keep the classroom tables clean. All these supplies will also be available for all the students.
