My Students
My students come to Physical Education class enthusiastic and ready to be active. Many of my students come from low income homes and live in poverty. They receive free and reduced lunches. These students face challenges every day. But when these students enter the gym, they are ready to be responsible for their health. It is my responsibility to challenge them every day. Cup stacking is a sport in which all students can have success. Students will be engaged in an activity that is fun and exciting.
My Project
My students come to class full of energy and ready to move. But there are times when the gym isn't available. Having these stacking cups available for my students to use will enable them to be active in limited space.
Stacking cups are wonderful for hand-eye coordination.
Studies show that cups help with Math, Science, and Reading too. When the weather keeps our younger students in for recess, cup stacking could be a fun activity to engage our learners. Elementary and high school students could use these cups when need be. When our students are fully engaged, learning is taken place.
