This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are constantly wanting to learn and that is what I love about them. I love that my students are willing to learn and excited to learn every day but I do not want students who do not have these materials to start not liking school because they do not have the materials to learn. These materials will make a difference in their learning by giving them the supplies that they might not get at home. But due to inflation prices are going up on even the most basic items like school supplies, sometimes it is hard for families to provide them for the child and I am trying to give the students a station where they can go and grab what they need and that could range from grabbing a snack to stapling their paper to borrowing paper, pens without asking. Just knowing they do not have to worry about that stuff.
