This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are resourceful, kind and hard-working. They often use their creativity to create amazing work in the science classroom with little more than markers, paper, old glue sticks.

They love science and are required to create and execute original research in order to graduate.

These important projects are due in June and they spend the entire year hard at work.

They continually amaze me with their ability to produce college level work without access to adequate supplies. Thank you.

My Project

Unfortunately, our rusty air conditioner, fell out of the window and was rendered non-functional. Our high school cannot not afford to replace it. Science shows that learning is negatively impacted when attempted in temperature extremes. It is my hope that you will help my students to learn science in a properly ventilated and air conditioned space. I have requested a portable air conditioner so that it does not fall out of the window. I really appreciate the time you have taken to read this page and sincerely very thankful for any amount of money you can donate to this worthy cause.
