This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year my class consists of kindergarten and 1st grade special needs students in a Title I school. All of my students have different levels of disabilities that need to be taught using differentiated teaching.

All of my wonderful students have the desire to learn, just like their general education peers.

They try hard on a daily basis and want to do well educationally, emotionally and behaviorally. They celebrate their successes and know when they need extra support to help meet their needs.

My Project

This years flu season has taken a toll on our little class. Each and every day we sanitize desks and chairs with the hope of keeping everyone healthy. We need these supplies to make sure we can continue to keep a healthy area for the students. My students crave routines. Being out of school for 4 or more days makes it harder for them when they return after illness.

Help keep my students healthy and learning!

They already face many difficulties learning, illness should not stop them from learning to be awesome students and improve their levels in the classroom.
