This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
There are roughly 125 sixth graders at my school. The school has tried their best to provide almost the 1,000 students technology to continue their studies at home but some do not have WiFi. A few students travel back and forth between family members and places to stay so I wanted to provide something they would enjoy doing while away from school.
My Project
We have virtual learning for the rest of the
2019-2020 school year.
My students are the best and I miss them. I didn't get to say goodbye to them the way I wanted to because I thought we were coming back after Spring Break. I want to provide my students with a few things for them to explore and be engaged with while at home along with a treat and words of encouragement to continue with their studies until the last day of school.
