My Students

My students will brighten any day! They are different learners and have special needs but are masters in their learning! With support, encouragement, understanding, differentiation, and acceptance my students with autism excel. Do not underestimate them because they will knock your socks off! They teach me every day the love and patience needed to see the world through their bodies.

We are at a Title I school where the majority of the students are free and reduced lunch but that does not hold them back!

We are learners together.

My Project

I am asking for a bunch of items that will greatly improve student independence and learning. I am asking for a radio and musical instruments that will increase their attention while working on rhythm. I am also asking for a laptop and activities for our stations. These items will be used to align the skills needed with independent work time. Having the students work on quality tasks independently allows me to work with small groups of students with a more targeted focus of instruction. I am also asking for wobble stools that will increase attention for my active kiddos and treasure items for our reward system.
