Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project is to help our school start building an instrument inventory for our growing band program. These instruments are part of the basic foundation of school band programs. Often, a student's instrument will need to be repaired, and not having school-owned instruments on hand will mean a student will have to go days without having something to play.

Students deserve the opportunity to explore their interests.

By having a school-owned instrument inventory, our beginner students will get the opportunity to explore the different instrument options and decide what they like best. When students have a vested interest there is no limit to their potential!
