My students are very excited about learning and come to school every day with open minds. Completing simple, everyday tasks in a classroom requires many materials that my students and their families simply cannot afford.
They look forward to our routine and learn the classroom procedures quickly and effortlessly because it is what they crave.
Having materials within reach is an essential part of learning so that the creative process is not interrupted by looking for a pencil or eraser.
My Project
We are requesting pencil boxes, pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, highlighters, and markers. Having these fully stocked pencil boxes ready for my students from day one will help them ease back into schooling quickly. Knowing that everything they need is right on the corner of their desk will make getting to the work and the fun of school easier for them. Pencils, erasers, crayons, scissors, and glue are used daily in my First grade classroom. These materials are essential for learning!
Having these basic necessities available to my students starting on day one will make their transition to first grade so much easier.
No one will be waiting for their parents to get paid to have their supplies as everyone will be ready to go from the start!
