My students need basic school supplies to help them with the new school year. I am asking for the resources that there never seems to be enough of.

I work in a small school in a very rural community. Many of my students struggle to attain even the most basic school supplies. This lack of financial stability in our community has a huge impact on our schools.
However, the financial hardships my students experience don't hamper their enthusiasm for learning.
Much of our student population recognizes education as their ticket to a better future. They are as eager as the teachers are to begin a new year of learning.
My Project
In our rural WV town many students come to school lacking the supplies they need for the school year. As a teacher, I and my colleagues often end up purchasing a lot of the supplies that they will need in order to activity participate in all classroom activities, and this year I'm asking for a little help with this.
Your donation will make it possible for the students who would typically start the year at a disadvantage to be placed on an even level with the rest of their classmates!
Financial constraints should not impact a student's ability to perform in the classroom. With just a few extra materials, my students will all be on the road to success!
These materials will be used for everyday activities such as vocabulary review, organizing materials efficiently, and so much more! The dry erase markers and boards are used for review activities, spelling practice, vocabulary games, etc. They are a fun way to keep all students engaged in their learning.
The binders, pens, and pencils I will give to students who are unable to get their own. We use these to keep notes, handouts, and assignments organized and easy to find, and if you know any middle schoolers, you know that organization is paramount!
The tissues and hand sanitizer will be used to support my students (and myself) through the various bouts of illness that inevitably hit schools throughout the year and help support healthy and sanitary habits. These are two things that we never seem to have enough of.
