My Students
Help! I desperately need basic supplies in order to provide my students with the education they deserve. In a school district where funding doesn't always cover the basic supplies, I need your help to keep the focus on learning in my classroom!
I teach second grade to an energetic group of students!
Many of my students face many challenges outside of school, and as their teacher, I try and make school a safe place for them by keeping consistent routines and expectations, while allowing them to feel comfortable and cared for. One of my biggest need is basic school supplies such as sentence strips and math manipulatives to help with their learning.
My Project
The sentence strips will be used for word walls, introducing vocabulary words, and sentence starters all over our classroom. They will also be used for a variety of activities that help demonstrate the unit question and concepts of each reading and math unit that we do in class. The glue will be used for our art projects. The math manipulatives will help to build math stamina, and my students will be able to use these math tools to work in small groups as well as independently.
By supporting our classroom project, you will be providing the opportunity for my students to have the supplies needed to complete their learning activities.
My students are eager learners and want their work to shine and you can make that difference! Even though I am requesting basic items, the impact of the items will not be basic!
