I am a TRC teacher impacted by Hurricane Harvey and I’m in need of school supplies that were not already donated by the surrounding communities and other wonderful districts. Homes are just being repaired and more are to move in.
I want to help them out by being successful in education.
They are clever, smart, and very caring. Our students were able to stay focused after this past school year. In addition, they have learned about generosity and reclaimed their hope after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
My Project
My goal is to provide assurance to the students and families by having the school back to normal. This means easing the minds of school supplies. Since the hurricane, financial situations, employment opportunities and living situations are still uncertain. We are finally returning to our main building this Fall.
Working together as a staff, we hope to supply not only pencils, paper, journals, and folders but an environment that is filled with PRIDE.
After spending this past year in portable buildings, our outstanding Marlins are ready to return to normalcy at our middle school. It is for certain that Marlin Pride Runs Deep!
