My Students

By donating to my project, you will provide a chance for my students to have better support to be prepared come what may. Never running out of materials will allow students to be confident in themselves and on tasks each day ready to work. You will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I work at a title I, this is school receiving federal funds for Title I students. The basic principle of Title I is that schools with large concentrations of low-income students will receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting student's educational goals. It is vital that I have enough materials ready for these students to be fully engaged in optimal time.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in math. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like big vibrant colors. So I would like to have materials that will hold their interests and keep them engaged in math in my classroom. Coming from a smaller school to this almost 2000 student campus I'm afraid I will run out of much-needed supplies. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. I want to keep the room organized and in order so that the students can be successful in completing routines on procedures. The new storage unit that I am hoping to receive is very sturdy and will provide the support that is needed as the students will learn more independence and how to become self-sufficient. The more organized my classroom is the faster and more proficient the students can be which means less time running around and more time learning.
