My Project

I am starting an Elementary/Middle School Chess Club! It has been proven that students benefit from learning how to play Chess. Experts suggest that Chess exercises both sides of the brain, increases concentration and memory, develops problem solving skills, improves reading skills, teaches planning and foresight, engages the mind off screen, and connects the player with others. I want all of these benefits for the students in my school! With commitment and practice…I hope to have students competing in the not so distant future! Please consider helping us start this wonderful club!
