I have a great bunch of kiddos that love to learn. Each individual 3rd grader has their own interests and talents. They are an energetic and creative bunch. As their teacher, I do my best to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met right where they are! They are a super friendly, active and social group, and I am so lucky and appreciative to be able to work with such awesome 3rd graders. We work hard every day and to make everyday in 3rd Grade a GREAT Day!
My Project
Wobbly chairs help kiddos with ownership in the classroom. Students get a choice of where and how they sit during their work time to. Wobbly Chairs allow those kids that have so much energy get their wiggles out so they can stay focused on their leaning. It’s so important to have wobbly chairs in a classroom using Blended Learning (which includes: 1. Flexible Seating, 2. Differentiated assignments, 3. And meaningful feedback.) The chairs help the kiddos move around during work time if they need. My goal is that my students are more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. Wobbly Chairs will contribute to this goal!
