Help me give my students STEM activities to start their day with rather than jumping right into classwork we will ease their minds into the school day.
My students are rambunctious and have a hard time jumping right into school work. To get their brains and bodies working first thing in the morning, I plan to have them ease into their day by playing/building/discovering with some easy hands-on activities like marble runs, pop-it puzzles, and magnetic building blocks. They will also have the option to read/discover some interesting facts and quiz their class mates on random information as well as find some fun jokes. This will allow them to wake up their brains, create a social emotional connection with their peers and also create a connection between mental and physical activities. I can't wait to see how much it helps them!
